Dolmens

Driving along the departmental road which links Sournia to Prades you will have the possibility of first seeing the superb dolmen Font de L’Arca, whose covering slab is adorned with many cupules. A little further along the road stands a strange megalith, Roc Cornut, whose unexpected silhouette rises above other granite blocks. Then you will reach Cayenne where there is another well preserved dolmen. However the famous Peira Dreta is not a menhir, but an quirk of nature.
